Antoine is from Bordeaux in the southwest of France. He played tennis for 10 years but now prefers soccer. He wants to learn about our culture and improve his English.

Anton lives near Paris with his parents and brother and sister. He is looking forward to discovering new places, new lifestyles, new food, and meeting new people.  He likes basketball and boxing among other sports and plays the guitar.

Marin lives in the west of France in Brittany with his parents, an older sister and a 3 year old cat.  He enjoys doing sports especially rugby and soccer.  He is in a club called “Rugby Club de Vannes” which played in a national championship.  In school he likes
mathematics and physics. He has visited the US with his parents.

Titouan lives in a small village in the west of France, Brittany, near the ocean with his parents and a younger brother. One of his big dreams is to come to the USA. He says he does a lot of sports like judo, boxing and wrestling. He also does surfing and skating. In the future Titouan would like to work in international trade or international relations.

Gildas lives near Paris with his parents and two older sisters.  He says he is not very good at ball sports such as basketball or soccer, but he still enjoys playing them.  He often plays tennis with his father and goes to the gym regularly.  He particularly likes volleyball and badminton. In school he likes Math, Economics and Geopolitics since he
wants to pursue work in economics.

Elsa lives in the heart of Paris with her parents and a younger brother.  Sports play a big role in their lives even though they live in the city.  She likes swimming, tennis, and surfing.  Elsa likes cooking and also plays the piano.  She would like to become an engineer in the future.

Frieda is from Tours and travels with her brother Charlie. She likes tennis, soccer, basketball and horseback riding . Frieda likes drawing, painting, dance and cooking. She also likes music and plays the piano. Her favorite subjects at school are French, English, art and sports. Her main hobby is ice skating, which she practices three times a week.

Charlie lives in Tours with his family. He has one older sister and a younger brother.  He is excited about his first trip to the US.  He likes swimming, art and going to museums. He also likes music and plays the saxophone in the conservatory in Tours. His favorite subjects are history and music.

Clara  lives in Versailles, near Paris. She likes basketball, tennis, gymnastics and horseback riding.  She also likes movies, concerts and going to museums. She thinks she would like to be an interior designer someday.  She likes animals but doesn’t have any pets at home because her dad has allergies.  Clara would really like to have a family with a girl around her age.

Louise is from the north of France with her parents and 3 older brothers.  She really is into soccer and coaches a team of 7-8 year olds.  Also plays tennis.  She has visited the US with her parents and thought NYC was amazing. Louise also likes painting, concerts and movies. She is a bit allergic to cats and dogs (and dust) but would be OK if they were not in her bedroom.  She will have medicine with her.
